SEND at Wilbury Junior School

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At Wilbury Junior School, we believe in every pupil's unique abilities. Together, we aim to achieve an inclusive environment where all students can shine. With high expectations for all and the right support, every student can achieve success and shine brightly.

From the 1st September 2014 the Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice: 0-25 years has replaced the 2001 SEN Code of Practice. We have gathered comprehensive details regarding our approach to identifying, assessing and making provision for pupils with SEN in our SEN Information Report and SEND Policy.

If you have any questions about our provision, don't hesitate to contact our SENCo Miss Gaitely via the school office or email at senco@wilbury.herts.sch.uk.

Our school SEN Information Report forms part of the Hertfordshire SEND local offer. The Local Offer sets out the information, support, services and activities that are available in the local area for families, children and young people aged 0-25 with SEND. We understand that Wilbury School's SEND Report covers a wide range of needs and we would be more than happy to discuss your child’s individual needs in more depth.
